Identity and website for a freelance interpreter

My mother is a freelance interpreter between Persian, Farsi, Dari and Finnish. The goal was to create an attractive, neutral but interesting logo and visual style for her together with a website.
I chose positive colours with subtle tints to give a warm feel together with the strong, official black. The hand-written marker pen logo creates a dynamic contrast with these pastel colours.
